Creating a nice wordpress theme is now a hobby of mine, and I have gotten a couple of dollars of some themes.

Here is a latest creation, a Transformer Theme I have sold to a friend, but unfortunately they did not approve using the images from the movie in the theme . I have already finished around 12 themes and all have now been sold, I do not plan to make a living out of this but a couple of these themes and my new laptop is just an arm-reach away.

I have to make my own theme soon and share it to all of those who have stick with me and is continuously reading my blog even if I do not write so much anymore since I am now teaching in a private college here. After finishing the website of the University, I would have more time updating the blog and sharing to you alot of things…

A theme can make wonders - it could make or break your blog.

I haven’t finished my super duper theme (i already named it Tinginingining-I)  but someone made this theme and he wanted me to use it. I wanted to share it to you but I can’t since I did not made it.

You may have noticed that I have been out the past couple of days, I have been looking for work and then got sick because of the extreme heat…

I have actually created a logo for the Blog Drive Bys by Untwisted Vortex yesterday since I am now feeling well. I hope RT would like this Tiny Signs’ way of appreciation and actually use it.

The concept is Driving by a common Philippine Scenery - Bahay Kubo, using a kalesa.

As you all know I want to give out those links for free, so I have installed a DOFOLLOW for the comment area. Yeah, all links from in your comments are now backlinked!

I thought of enabling this after I finished my theme for the site, but I do not know when well it would be finished so I just enabled the plugin instead, hopefully, this would give my readers more reason to comment on what I have been blabbing about. Hehehe!

As of now, I have been getting quite a bit of traffic, I haven’t done much to increase this, maybe the free links idea was one of the reasons I have a couple of frequent visitors. I know I have a lot more of things to do to get more traffic into the site, a couple more communities to join, write a lot of nice contents, and more friends (bloggers).

Thanks to those who gave me a head start in building a quite traffic this past week, It really have increased the traffic. I’ll keep you updated about what has been with Tiny Signs, your friendly programming tutor!

I am quiet busy, so no CSS, PHP, VB.NET or any programming tutorials this past few days.

Yeah! I have been busy with a this new theme for the site. I have been trying to get it done before wednesday but I don’t think I could actually pull it off. I am not good at designing and each day, I scrape a couple of areas now and then that is why it is really getting me over worked.

Another thing I am considering is the Links and Kisses section of the blog. As you have known I still have been worried about it last week. Nothing much has been done by yours truly on the tutorials but I had been busy trying to compose a super lengthy tutorials on PHP so keep posted.

Here are a couple of links that some of those VB.NET programmers out there who is not able to download the Express Edition, SharpDev could be used as alternative VB.NET 2005. I used it for my VB.NET programming, but you can also use it for your C# and BOO projects which is available for free - Sharp Develop 2.1

I couldn’t possibly give out a review for them in the meantime - maybe one of this coming days.

As most of you have known, I am giving out free backlinks and website reviews right now and I am getting a little more attention than what I have expected to get. Tiny Signs now wants more!

I know 100+ PV in a couple of days (2~3 days) may be little low to most of those “veteran” bloggers out there, but when I started out, it was just a couple of friends who frequent my site and Tiny Signs is happy to have around 2~5 visits a day.

Now because of my hunger for much more attention, I am entertaining the fact of separating my Links and Kisses reviews from the main objective I had when I started out - to share my knowledge about a couple of Programming Languages I learned from the University, books - I have stolen from the Library (joke! I just borrowed them), and few of e-books which were bigheartedly sent by a couple of friends over the net.

But, the problem is, How am I going to pull it off. I thought of putting it in a separate directory, which would mean, I will upload another wordpress copy in my hosting (which is provided for FREE by a friend whom I met over a forum.) or I would just list them in a Link and Kisses page, but that would just make you navigate more to reach it. I could also modify a ranking software, the only problem with this one is time constraints - I am trying get a job so I could upgrade my Internet connection and pay the bills.

I am really irritated since I can seem to decide which way to go with this blog. I want to get those traffic more, and do not want to get my site full of reviews (I could only manage to get 2~3 sites everytime I get connected and I am on a budget - 0 income in the meantime :))

Well, you’ll hear from me in a couple of days, after a few interviews here and there. In the meantime, care to share some thoughts?

**update: I have tried the comment coming from Spud Oregon (Thanks!), but have not yet put it on the links on top of my blog, although I have edited the widget.php file to have a widget for the Links and Kisses last 10 Reviews and prevented the Recent Posts to show my posts in the Links and Kisses category, I still don’t know how to prevent my next and previous navigations to NOT show the posts from the said category. Maybe by tommorow I could figure this out.
