Join me in saying… Links are Free!
As you all know I want to give out those links for free, so I have installed a DOFOLLOW for the comment area. Yeah, all links from in your comments are now backlinked!
I thought of enabling this after I finished my theme for the site, but I do not know when well it would be finished so I just enabled the plugin instead, hopefully, this would give my readers more reason to comment on what I have been blabbing about. Hehehe!
As of now, I have been getting quite a bit of traffic, I haven’t done much to increase this, maybe the free links idea was one of the reasons I have a couple of frequent visitors. I know I have a lot more of things to do to get more traffic into the site, a couple more communities to join, write a lot of nice contents, and more friends (bloggers).
Thanks to those who gave me a head start in building a quite traffic this past week, It really have increased the traffic. I’ll keep you updated about what has been with Tiny Signs, your friendly programming tutor!
Please help me eat some more rice, Give me some rice and you get a backlink for free. Thanks for the support, I know it is still a long road to go, but I’ll take it a day at a time.

Great of you to follow the NOFOLLOW movement =)
For me personally, even though I still don’t get a lot of comments, I get a lot more than I did before, which was around 5 in 3 months
And it also gave me incentive to be more active in other blogs that turned off the NOFOLLOW.

DOFOLLOW is definitely the way to go, but make sure you’ve got a good comment antispam plugin running, or you might end up pointing to a lot of sites you’d prefer not to.

I haven’t have any antispam plugins… Hehehe! If ever I had spams, I would just delete them from the comments area and ban their IP. That is just a temporary way, I need to learn more about a couple of antispam plugin… Care to give me a little list of possible plugins that is easy to use…
**EDITED**
Just installed the akismet plugin. hope i could find another antispam plugin that would go with it. They say two heads are better than one.. /heh

Since you’re running WordPress, at the very least you might want to install Akismet. Additionally, you might want to consider using Bad Behavior, Spam Karma 2 and/or Bannage.

I have had great success with akismet, it filters a few hundred spam messages for me a day.Great time saver.
Also do the DoFollow on my site if anyone wants to stop by…

I’m a big fan of Akismet too. It has been very effective. Like your blog, by way. I’ll stop in occasionally to see how it plays out over time. Thanks for stopping by my blog, by the way. Take care!

That’s a great idea for a new site. I have old blogs that took ages to reach PR4 and I’m going to use your idea for my brand new site. I’ve put a permanent blog roll link to Tiny Signs at my blog

Good idea.
With Akismet and a few other effective Spam filtering plugins, I believe the Do-Follow movement will prevail.
It’s about time I follow suit
